In 2006 Seamans Building Contractors officially opened their new landmark project…their own headquarters in Great Green, Thurston, Suffolk.

Designed by mltarchitects the building - a former agricultural tractor shed – has been completley transformed with a new glass and steel elevational structure and extensive internal modifications; providing a new base for the Suffolk construction company and its employees.

Seamans’ relocation to Great Green from Stowmarket marked an exciting new era for this family business; adapting to meet the demands of the 21st century – bringing a fresh and contemporary approach to both commercial and residential developments, and winning an enviable reputation for it high management and craft standard.

This building reflects Seamans approach of combining the traditions and values of both heritage with a fresh and contemporary approach…. transforming an unimaginative agricultural building into an eye-catching, practical and innovative workspace.
