mltarchitects is a chartered architectural practice operating mainly throughout East Anglia, based in Bury St Edmunds and boasts an experienced and professional team offering a wide range of skills in all types of construction projects.

We pride ourselves on developing designs that are distinctive, innovative and contemporary whilst also sensitive to the sites context and surroundings, creating eye-catching high quality buildings and environments that truly reflect our client’s brief, requirements and aspirations.

Whilst always looking to promote good architecture and create another layer of development to the local heritage, mltarchitects extensive team of architects and designers appreciate the importance of designs that are sympathetic to the surroundings and immediate environment, utilising our extensive knowledge of listed buildings and traditional construction techniques.

We actively encourage our clients to consider sustainability, environmental issues and using natural, healthy materials where possible. Paramount consideration within every design is sustainability both environmental and economic and we act as a regional agent for the Buildstore’s National Self Build and Renovation Centre, assisting self-build clients to develop eco-sensitive homes throughout the Home Counties and East Anglia.

Central to our design philosophy is that designs are inspired by the aspirations of the end user, regardless of size or scale of the project. Our experience covers projects from £10,000 - £10 million in a variety of sectors from commercial and industrial developments, high quality residential schemes, retail outlets, healthcare, residential care and nursing homes, sports and leisure, arts and educational projects together with refurbishment and listed buildings working in close partnership with companies, charities, organisations, funding bodies, local authorities, housing associations and private individuals.

mltarchitects offers a full range of architectural services, preparing feasibility schemes, planning and building regulation applications, tendering, working drawings and on site construction overview and certification. We also offer project management, CDM Co-ordinator and planning services while close relationships with many local consultants, including quantity surveyors and service consultants, ensures any type of multi-disciplinary project team can be formed when necessary.
